Born in the High Desert of Apple Valley, Bougie Cattle Company was built from both heartbreak and hope. I grew up the daughter of one of the last true ranchers in our area, where cattle, open pasture, and hard work weren't just a lifestyle — they were part of who we were.
But as Southern California changed, so did ranching. Rising costs, disappearing pasture land, and the reality of modern life forced my family to make impossible decisions, including selling the cattle that had been part of our lives for decades.

I knew if I wanted to keep ranching alive, I had to rethink what ranching could look like in today's world. That's how Bougie Cattle Company was born.
We specialize in extraordinary miniature and micro Highland cattle that bring the ranch lifestyle back within reach. These aren't just livestock — they're companions, conversation pieces, therapy, peace, and purpose all wrapped up in shaggy hair and tiny hooves.
