Refund, Cancellation & Deposit Policy

This Refund, Cancellation & Deposit Policy applies to purchases, bookings, deposits, tours, ranch experiences, animal event rentals, photoshoots, livestock purchases, embryo purchases, Build A Bougie Baby orders, apparel, jewelry, subscriptions, and other products or services offered by Bougie Cattle Company.

By making a purchase, booking an experience, paying a deposit, placing an order, or submitting payment through our website or an invoice, you agree to this policy.

This policy should be read together with our:

Ranch Tours, Calf Cuddling, Bottle Feedings, Animal Event Rentals, and Photoshoots

All payments for ranch tours, calf cuddling, bottle feedings, animal event rentals, and photoshoots are considered a non-refundable donation to the ranch.

Because these experiences require scheduling, staff coordination, animal preparation, private availability, and limited time slots, all payments are final and non-refundable.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Ranch tours
  • Lunch tours
  • Calf cuddling
  • Bottle feedings
  • Animal encounters
  • Animal event rentals
  • Photoshoots
  • Private ranch experiences
  • Special events
  • Custom experiences

Rescheduling Policy

You may reschedule an eligible ranch tour, calf cuddling experience, bottle feeding, animal event rental, or photoshoot up to 48 hours before your scheduled booking time.

To reschedule, please use the confirmation email you received from your original booking.

If you do not reschedule at least 48 hours in advance, your payment will be forfeited and no refund, credit, transfer, or reschedule will be provided.

Bougie Cattle Company is not responsible for missed appointments, late arrivals, calendar errors, travel delays, failure to check your confirmation email, or failure to reschedule within the required time period.

No-Shows and Late Arrivals

If you do not arrive for your scheduled booking, your payment will be forfeited.

If you arrive late, we may not be able to extend your booking time, reschedule your experience, or provide a partial refund or credit. Ranch experiences are scheduled around staff availability, animal care schedules, other guests, and ranch operations.

Weather, Safety, and Animal Considerations

Bougie Cattle Company reserves the right to reschedule, modify, delay, or cancel a ranch experience, event, animal encounter, animal event rental, or photoshoot due to weather, animal health, ranch conditions, safety concerns, staffing issues, emergencies, or other circumstances outside of our control.

If Bougie Cattle Company determines that rescheduling is necessary, we will make reasonable efforts to offer a new available date or time. Refunds will not be provided unless required by law or expressly agreed to in writing by Bougie Cattle Company.

Apparel and Jewelry

All apparel and jewelry purchases are final sale.

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for apparel, jewelry, accessories, hats, custom items, sale items, promotional items, or limited-quantity merchandise.

Please review all product details, sizing, descriptions, and photos before purchasing.

If you receive the wrong item or your order arrives damaged, please contact us at jo@bougiecattleco.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We will review the matter and determine whether a replacement, store credit, or other resolution is appropriate at our sole discretion.

Livestock Purchases

For available livestock listed on our website, you may either:

  1. Pay a $250 non-refundable deposit to reserve the animal or begin the purchase process; or
  2. Pay the full purchase price at the time of purchase by credit card, where available.

A livestock deposit is used to reserve the selected animal or purchase opportunity and is non-refundable for any reason.

Livestock purchases involve live animals, limited availability, scheduling, animal care, paperwork, and coordination. Once a deposit or payment is made, the animal may be removed from availability, and Bougie Cattle Company may decline other interested buyers. For that reason, deposits and livestock payments are final unless otherwise stated in a written agreement signed or confirmed by Bougie Cattle Company.

Payment Options for Livestock, Embryos, and Build A Bougie Baby

If you choose to pay the full amount on the day of purchase, you may pay by credit card through the website where available.

If you only pay the $250 deposit at checkout, Bougie Cattle Company may invoice you within 48 hours for the remaining balance. Remaining balances may be paid by wire transfer, cash, ACH, or credit card, subject to approval and any applicable fees.

Payment instructions, due dates, pickup timing, and any remaining requirements will be communicated after your deposit is received.

Credit Card Fees and Insurance for Livestock Purchases

All livestock purchases paid by credit card will include:

  • An 8% insurance charge
  • A 2% credit card surcharge

These charges will be itemized in your cart or invoice where applicable.

For livestock orders paid by cash, ACH, or wire transfer, there is no credit card surcharge, and insurance is optional unless otherwise stated in writing.

Calf insurance covers your calf purchase for one year from your pick-up date, subject to the applicable insurance terms, limitations, exclusions, and claim requirements. Insurance coverage is provided according to the insurance program terms and is not a guarantee by Bougie Cattle Company unless expressly stated in writing.

Remaining Balances and Pickup

Any remaining balance must be paid in full before pickup, transport, delivery, or transfer of the livestock unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Bougie Cattle Company reserves the right to hold, delay, or cancel pickup, transport, delivery, or transfer until all required payments, paperwork, and purchase terms are completed.

Failure to pay the remaining balance by the required deadline may result in forfeiture of your deposit and cancellation of the purchase.

Embryo Purchases

For embryo purchases, we require a $250 non-refundable deposit, or you may pay the full amount at the time of purchase where available.

The same payment terms, credit card surcharge, insurance-related terms where applicable, and non-refundable deposit rules described above apply to embryo purchases unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.

Embryo purchases may be subject to additional terms related to availability, transfer, storage, shipping, veterinary procedures, recipient animals, pregnancy outcomes, and other biological or logistical factors. No guarantee is made unless expressly provided in writing by Bougie Cattle Company.

Build A Bougie Baby Orders

For Build A Bougie Baby orders, you may pay the full price upfront under the terms and fees described above, or you may follow the staged payment process below.

Step 1: $250 Today

Pay $250 today to place your order and lock in your selected pairing.

This payment is a non-refundable deposit.

Step 2: $6,000 Deposit

Bougie Cattle Company will contact you to finalize your $6,000 deposit.

This deposit may be payable by ACH or credit card. Credit card payments may incur a processing fee or surcharge.

The $6,000 deposit is non-refundable once paid.

Step 3: $6,000 Before Pickup

Once the deposit is paid, the remaining $6,000 balance is due before pickup.

No animal may be picked up, transported, delivered, or transferred until the full balance and any applicable fees are paid in full and all required paperwork is completed.

Build A Bougie Baby orders involve live animals, breeding selections, pairing availability, timing, biological outcomes, scheduling, care, and other factors outside of Bougie Cattle Company’s full control. No specific outcome, timing, color, sex, size, temperament, conformation, registration, pregnancy, embryo result, or future value is guaranteed unless expressly stated in a written agreement signed or confirmed by Bougie Cattle Company.

Livestream Subscriptions

For livestream subscription purchases, you may manage your subscription by logging into your Bougie Cattle Company account.

If you are having trouble accessing your account, editing your subscription, or canceling your subscription, please email jo@bougiecattleco.com.

Subscription access, billing, cancellation timing, and renewal terms may depend on the subscription platform, payment processor, and plan selected at checkout.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law, livestream subscription payments are non-refundable once billed.

If you cancel a subscription, cancellation will apply to future billing periods and will not automatically refund past charges.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Bougie Cattle Company does not permit improper or unauthorized credit card chargebacks for valid purchases, deposits, bookings, donations, livestock payments, subscriptions, apparel, jewelry, or final-sale items.

By making a purchase, booking an experience, paying a deposit, placing an order, or enrolling in a subscription, you agree to contact Bougie Cattle Company first at jo@bougiecattleco.com before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

We are here to help resolve questions, billing concerns, booking issues, or order problems. If you believe there has been an error, please contact us directly so we can review the matter.

Filing an improper chargeback for a valid, non-refundable purchase may result in cancellation of services, forfeiture of deposits, denial of future bookings or purchases, collection activity, recovery of chargeback fees, and any other remedies available to Bougie Cattle Company under applicable law.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable law for unauthorized transactions, fraud, or billing errors.

Final Sale Items
